Order Refunds

I'd like to be able to see more refunds related details on the order page to be able to better track and manage order refunds. In addition I'd like to be able to display a refund report with all the refunds details to be able to identify refunds made for orders without the items being sent back to me, so that I could dispute the refund with Walmart.

The work to implement those request is done.
The financial dashboards now display refunds cost and the Returns Dashboard provides details about orders with returns.

I do not think that is possible, but I will check. Until we get the actual fulfillment cost and the $$ amount of refunds subtracted then we will not have an accurate profit/Loss. I just looked at my YTD Refunds and they are far mor than you would think especially with on showing 1 or 2 refunds a month so something is going on here.

Alon, are you actually importing the refund dollar amount? because all I see is 0.00 for refunds and I know we have had a few. When I say data I am referring to the order # so that we can audit the refund. I received a personal item that was returned in the store yesterday. the package had been opened and the product had been used. So I now have to file a dispute. Being able to keep up with this type of info would be invaluable. I was under the impression that we had to manually input the refund data. also since you opened the conversation what is the most accurate way to calculate the fulfillment costs? Thanks

James Carden: We are importing the number of refunds, not the dollar amount. We can look into adding the dollar amount and take it into account when calculating profitability. We can also add a page to display more refunds related information to help you audit the refunds.
As for fulfillment cost, if you are using WFS, you can upload the reconciliation report of WFS into sellegr8 and we will use the data from it. If you are using a 3PL, you can either set a fixed fulfillment cost in the product page or import a file with per-order cost, as I believe you do today. The fulfillment cost is the cost you are paying to ship an item from WFS/3PL to the buyer's address.

So we need to total up the refund $$ amount and add it manually is this best done on the Dashboard?
Regarding fulfillment cost. I use Ship Station and we do SF shipping using ship station. I have been getting my average cost to ship a product and using that for fulfillment cost. but that is not ideal. is there a better method?
Thanks

James Carden: There's no way to add the refunds $$ at the moment. This is something we could improve.
Regarding the fulfillment cost, if you can export a report from Ship Station with the fulfillment cost per order along with the order number we can look into allowing to importing it into Sellegr8. Feel free to email the report to me at support (at) sellegr8 (dot) com

Absolutely, Also need to import the refund data
Alon Saggie
James Carden: After importing the refund data, how would you like to consume it? What are you going to do with it? We do show refunds today in the dashboard but from your feedback I understand this is not enough. Care to elaborate?

A module that helps with KW research would be very helpful

I want to vote this up as posted on the WM FB Group: a special report in Sellegr8 that will monitor all your refunds and track whether or not the item was sent back to you. If it doesn't we will alert you to open a case for Walmart and provide all the needed evidence.
